morning has broken
it’s easter sunday and what a day God has given us!
christmas starts God’s plan for us and easter completes his plan. we are free to liveCHRIST because he beat death and paid for what we couldn’t: sin.
what am i doing with that freedom and love? am i using the gift God has given me in life and redemption?
morning has broken and there is a new day. with each new day we have a new opportunity to liveCHRIST, draw closer to him and reach out into our wold for him.
one thing i miss about past easters is the sunrise services they had out in peoria, just east of pella. the youth group ran the serviced and it was a great way to start easter as the sun came up over the fields. cold, but a lively service that the students poured their hearts into. then cinnamon rolls afterwards.
some traditions are just great ones.
blessings this easter. Christ arose for you and me!
